Utility-scale

Containerised battery energy storage and large PV inverters for developers, EPCs and asset owners. The equipment matters, but the question that decides a project is whether the manufacturer will still be answering the phone when the asset is halfway through its life.

What is available

SOFARSOLAR has shipped 42 GW of inverters worldwide and operates in more than 100 countries. The utility range is the same engineering, at a size where a single design decision repeats a thousand times.

Containerised BESS

LFP storage delivered as a container rather than assembled on site, which shortens the programme and moves the integration risk back to the factory floor where it belongs.

Central and string architectures

String PCS where you want failure to be granular and maintenance to be a two-person job. Central where density and cost per megawatt dominate. Both are available; the choice is a project decision, not a brand one.

Grid-forming capability

Grid-forming inverters can establish voltage and frequency rather than only following them, which is increasingly what connection agreements in this country are asking for.

Documentation a lender will read

SOFARSOLAR is publicly listed, holds BloombergNEF Tier 1 for storage and a Wood Mackenzie Grade A rating. Financiers ask about the counterparty long before they ask about the datasheet.

How this works

We do not publish utility specifications on a marketing page.

Not because they are secret, but because a project at this scale is specified against a connection agreement, a revenue model and a site — and a generic datasheet is the least useful thing we could hand you. What is worth having early is the compliance pack, the warranty terms and the service model, because those are what a lender and an operations team will actually argue about.

Tell us the size, the location and the connection point, and we will come back with the documentation that matches rather than a brochure.

What we can put in front of you

  • Product certification and grid-compliance documentation for the Australian market.
  • Warranty and availability terms, and who carries them.
  • Manufacturer standing: listed company, audited accounts, BloombergNEF Tier 1 for storage.
  • Spares strategy and in-country stock position for the equipment proposed.
  • Service and response arrangements for the operating life of the asset.

Ask us who stands behind the equipment, then go and read the filings. It is a shorter conversation than most vendors would like, and it is the right place to begin.
