A failed inverter does not cost you the margin on the inverter. It costs you a day on the road, a customer who tells their street, and a warranty queue you have no way to chase. We are building the supply chain around that problem rather than around the invoice.
Every supplier in this market says the word partnership. Here is the specific list of what that has to mean before it means anything.
Factory-direct, not through a middleman
We buy from the manufacturer, not from a trading company that has already taken its cut. That difference shows up in your margin rather than in somebody else’s.
Warranty authorised inside 24 hours
Not “assessed” in 24 hours. Authorised. You get a decision and a dispatch, because the thing that costs you money is the week of waiting, not the claim itself.
Stock on the ground here
Warehousing across the mainland states. A replacement unit in a factory overseas is not a replacement unit — it is a promise with a six-week lead time attached.
One platform, fewer surprises
Inverter, battery and charger from the same manufacturer, commissioned through the same app. No compatibility matrix, no firmware standoff between two vendors blaming each other.
Support that can read a fault code
Australian-based, local hours, staffed by people who know the hardware. You should not have to explain your own trade to the person answering the phone.
A first unit on us
Put one on your own roof, or your workshop, before you put your name on it in front of a customer. We would rather you tested it than took our word.
You are the one standing in the customer’s kitchen defending the brand choice.
So the hardware has to survive that conversation. SOFARSOLAR is publicly listed with audited accounts, has shipped 42 GW of inverters worldwide, operates in over 100 countries, and is a top-five brand in Germany, Italy and Poland — the markets with the strictest grid-compliance requirements in the world.
When a homeowner asks you the only question that matters — whether the company will still be there in ten years — you have an answer you can point at rather than one you have to vouch for personally.
What we ask of you
- Hold current accreditation and the relevant electrical licence for the work.
- Install to AS/NZS 4777.2 and the manufacturer’s commissioning procedure.
- Register the system so the warranty is live from day one, not from the day it fails.
- Tell us when something is wrong with the product. We would rather hear it from you early than from a customer late.
No negotiated special deals for whoever pushed hardest on the phone. The tier you are on is a function of what you install, and it is the same for everyone at that level.
